“Places to Connect”
Worship Meetings
During our Sunday
morning worship meeting at 10:00 AM, everyone will be greeted warmly after
finding convenient parking (plenty of visitor and handicap parking close to the
front door). You will find plenty of assistance to help you and your family to
their places of worship. Everyone is welcome to join in a time of special
prayer. They can request a prayer partner at this designated time. Also, at the
conclusion of the sermon, everyone is encouraged to respond to God as He leads
them. The pastor is available for counsel and prayer. Public declarations of
decisions can be made at this time.
Our Sunday evening
worship meeting provides for connections by allowing public mention of prayer
requests, a personal atmosphere, opportunities for public response to God’s
leadership or public profession of life changes.
Our Wednesday evening
meetings provide connections by application Bible teaching and small group
prayer time. On the Wednesday following the second Sunday of each month, we
have a church-wide business meeting where a full report by all working
committees and ministries is presented. This allows any person to experience
connection by learning all the works, projects and business matters of the
church.
Union Rescue Mission
For those who enjoy ministry
to the homeless, we meet at 3000 Confederate Blvd. in Little Rock at 7:00 PM on
the 4th Monday of each month for preaching and ministry. Bro. Nelvin
Crace preaches the sermon, and various others lead singing and play the piano.
We also help with special needs and events of the Union Rescue Mission. (link

Ladies’ Bible Study
The 2nd
Monday of every month finds the ladies gathering at 7:00 PM in our Fellowship
Hall for a time of sharing, prayer, Bible Study, snacking and ministry. This is
a great place for women to make friends in the church and be fed spiritually.
Child care is provided at no cost.
Men’s Prayer Meeting
At 6:30 AM on
Tuesdays concerned men are invited to attend prayer meeting in the Fellowship
Hall with the pastor. It begins with coffee and friendly sharing followed by a
short devotional by the pastor and then prayer for our country, troops, leaders
and personal matters. This is a great way to connect together at Victory Baptist Church and a powerful way to start a day off right!
Victory in Prayer
During the school
year at Victory Baptist School, the V.I.P. program is in full swing! Every
Thursday morning at 8:00 AM the parents and other concerned friends gather to pray
for parents, teachers and students of the school. It is a great way to connect
with others who love a quality Christian education and those who are involved
with making it happen!
Preachers’ Fellowship
There are many men in
the world who God has called to special service. These men are preachers, and
at times they find themselves without a place to serve. Our church welcomes
preachers and has developed a great system for training the young men by the
elders. If a man is called of God to serve, he can find service at Victory Baptist Church. These men meet every other Sunday morning at 8:00 AM in the
pastor’s office for fellowship, training, counsel, prayer and special project
planning.
